WCT04 - Oi Rio Pro

With the Australian Leg behind us, the WSL Circus is moving across the world to the next stop in Brazil. It's all still to play for after the Margies Comp got called off due to a bit of sharkyness! At the moment Julian Wilson is in the lead for the men and Steph Gilmore for the ladies, there's still a long way to go though and Brazil has been a tricky location for the world's best in the last few years, plenty of time for a shake-up!

This year on the WCT we've got the highest number of Brazilian surfers ever, will it be a local bringing home the title this year?

If you're joining in our Fantasy Surfer competition then this could be the event where you can make some serious points over the opposition (if you haven't submitted your team yet then check out our featured post to see how it's done - it's 100% FREE!!). The waves in Brazil can prove challenging for many of the surfers on tour and can often throw up some unexpected winners! Our top-tip for Brazil is to look to the air; innovation and new-school manoeuvres have always scored well here in South America and we're sure that this year will be no different.

Tune in to Facebook to watch all the action live via the WSL page, you can tune in to www.worldsurfleague.com to watch all the action on the Heat Analyser and make sure to keep an eye on our own Facebook page for updates as we go!

BGSS Top Pick - Felipe Toledo will be hard to beat if he's on form, as long as he can keep his temper under control ( check out video of him storming the judging tower last year!). On the ladies side we're backing local legend Silvana Lima to bring home the goods.

REIGNING CHAMPS - Adriano De Souza & Tyler Wright
